Help for advanced search
- Using advanced search it is possible to search 'Recent contribitions', 'HC Editions', 'Explanations of the HC', 'Catechism methods' and 'Other publications'. It is not possible to search the content of full text versions of publications.
- It is possible to search within a specific group or in all groups simultaneously.
- Only the first word of every non-empty field is considered by the search mechanism.
- The search technology is case-insensitive, so it is possible to use small and capital letters arbitrary.
- When more than one field is used, only those publications are shown in which the meta data contains all search terms entered (the search terms are combined using an AND-operator).
- The search mechanism is also searching for words that start with the search term(s) entered. It virtually always puts a wildcard behind a search term.
- Publications that contain old Dutch words in their meta data can also be searched using actual Dutch words. For example: you are searching for the word "waarheid", than the search mechanism searches also automatically for the word "waarheyd". You don't have to worry about the spelling at publication date.
- Publications are ordered on target audience: Church (interested people), Scientific or both. When performing a search operation it is therefore possible to narrow your search on one of these target audiences or on both.

- Using the field at the right-top of the screen of every page, it is possible to search in all content of this website, not depending on the page you're currently visiting. It is adversely not possible to search the content of full text versions of publications.
